Job Summary:

The Hostel Warden is responsible for the overall supervision, safety, discipline, and welfare of hostel residents. The role ensures a secure, hygienic, and disciplined living environment while maintaining hostel rules and supporting students’ personal and academic well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily hostel operations and ensure smooth functioning

• Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations

• Ensure safety and security of students and hostel property

• Monitor student attendance, entry, and exit registers

• Address students’ grievances and resolve issues promptly

• Coordinate with management, parents, and academic staff when required

• Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel facilities

• Supervise housekeeping, security, and support staff

• Ensure proper food quality and hygiene in the mess

• Conduct regular room inspections and safety checks

• Handle emergencies and ensure first-aid availability

• Organize hostel activities, meetings, and awareness programs

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (any discipline)

• Prior experience as Hostel Warden / Residential Supervisor is an advantage

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle students with patience and discipline

• Basic knowledge of safety, first aid, and hostel management
