Position: Physics Teacher – CBSE School

Job Description:
Teach Physics to CBSE students and develop strong conceptual understanding through effective classroom teaching, practical experiments, and activity-based learning. Prepare students for examinations and support their overall academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow the CBSE curriculum and academic plan.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and study materials.
• Explain Physics concepts using practical examples and demonstrations.
• Conduct and supervise Physics laboratory practicals.
• Conduct tests, assessments, and examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
• Identify learning gaps and provide additional support.
• Prepare students for CBSE board examinations.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress when required.
• Coordinate with teachers and school management on academic activities.

Daily Duties:

• Conduct scheduled Physics classes.
• Check homework, classwork, and assignments.
• Clear students’ doubts and provide individual guidance.
• Conduct practicals, quizzes, and classroom activities.
• Monitor attendance, participation, and academic progress.
• Prepare teaching resources and digital learning materials.
• Update lesson plans and student records.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Physics with B.Ed.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
• Good knowledge of Physics laboratory equipment and practicals.
• CBSE school teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to use digital teaching tools effectively.
