Job Responsibilities

• Teach English language and literature according to the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare effective lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching materials.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, grammar, speaking, listening, and comprehension skills.
• Explain prose, poetry, grammar, and literature concepts in an engaging manner.
• Conduct regular tests, assessments, and remedial classes.
• Prepare students for CBSE examinations and improve their academic performance.
• Encourage students to participate in debates, speeches, presentations, creative writing, and other language activities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Use smart-class technology and innovative teaching methods.
• Monitor student progress and maintain academic records.
• Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic development when required.
• Participate in school meetings, events, workshops, and co-curricular activities.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English or a relevant subject.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as applicable.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE English curriculum.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Previous CBSE school teaching experience preferred.
