Job Title: English Teacher (PRT/TGT/PGT)

Location: Mysuru, Karnataka
Employment Type: Full-time
School Board: CBSE / ICSE / State Board
Experience: Freshers or experienced candidates, depending on the school

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
• Teach English grammar, literature, reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing and spoken English.
• Develop students’ communication, presentation and creative-writing skills.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments and examination papers.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
• Use innovative, activity-based and technology-assisted teaching methods.
• Communicate with parents and participate in school meetings and activities.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or a relevant subject.
• B.Ed. qualification preferred or required, depending on the post and school.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Knowledge of the relevant school curriculum.
• Prior teaching experience is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong command of English grammar and literature.
• Effective classroom management.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate students and support different learning needs.
