Job Summary:
A Science Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging science lessons that promote students’ understanding of scientific concepts and encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver science lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical laboratory activities.
• Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
• Maintain a safe and organized science laboratory.
• Encourage inquiry-based learning and scientific investigation.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and educational technology to enhance learning.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and behavior.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Education (B.Ed. preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
• Teaching certification (where applicable).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and laboratory equipment.
