Job Description – Special Educator for Special Children

Position: Special Educator
Department: Special Education / Student Support
Experience: 2–5 years preferred
Location: Hyderabad

Job Responsibilities

• Provide individualized education and support to children with special educational needs.
• Assess students’ academic, behavioral, social, communication, and developmental needs.
• Prepare and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Use appropriate teaching methods, activities, and learning materials according to each child’s abilities.
• Support children with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and other special needs.
• Develop communication, social, behavioral, motor, and self-help skills.
• Monitor and maintain individual student progress records.
• Coordinate with parents, class teachers, school management, counselors, psychologists, and therapists.
• Promote an inclusive, safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Provide guidance to teachers and parents on suitable strategies for supporting the child.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, assessments, and awareness programs.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
