Position: PGT Zoology / Biology Teacher

Experience: 2–5 years preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Teach Zoology and Biology to senior secondary students as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, worksheets, and question papers.
• Explain concepts such as animal diversity, anatomy, physiology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and related topics effectively.
• Conduct practical classes, laboratory experiments, demonstrations, and specimen-based learning.
• Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations and competitive examinations such as NEET, where applicable.
• Conduct regular tests, evaluate student performance, and provide academic feedback.
• Identify students’ learning gaps and provide remedial and enrichment support.
• Maintain discipline and create an engaging, student-friendly classroom environment.
• Use smart-class technology, presentations, digital resources, and innovative teaching methods.
• Maintain student academic records and communicate progress to parents when required.
• Participate in school meetings, academic activities, seminars, workshops, and other institutional programs.

Eligibility

• M.Sc. in Zoology / Biology or relevant subject.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as applicable.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment pattern.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in CBSE school teaching preferred.
• NEET teaching experience will be an added advantage.
