Physics Teacher – CBSE Board

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to teach secondary and senior secondary students as per CBSE curriculum guidelines. The teacher will be responsible for delivering concept-based instruction, conducting practicals, and preparing students for board examinations while fostering scientific thinking and curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics for Classes IX–XII in accordance with CBSE syllabus and academic calendar

• Prepare detailed lesson plans and annual teaching plans

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction with strong conceptual clarity

• Conduct Physics practicals, lab experiments, and project work as per CBSE norms

• Prepare students for board examinations, internal assessments, and unit tests

• Design worksheets, assignments, and question papers

• Evaluate answer sheets and maintain academic records

• Use smart classroom tools, simulations, and teaching aids

• Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry

• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress

• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc / M.Sc in Physics

• B.Ed (Mandatory for CBSE schools)

• CTET qualified (Preferred / as per CBSE norms)

Experience

• 1–5 years teaching experience in CBSE schools

• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may apply

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over Physics concepts and numericals

• Good classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to teach diverse learning levels

• Familiarity with CBSE assessment pattern and marking scheme

• Proficiency in using digital tools and online teaching platforms
