Job Summary

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Commerce Teacher to teach subjects such as Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics (as applicable) and to prepare students for academic success and board examinations. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, effective teaching skills, and a student-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Commerce subjects (Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics) for Classes XI–XII

• Plan lessons according to prescribed curriculum and board guidelines

• Explain concepts using real-world business and economic examples

• Prepare students for board exams, internal assessments, and projects

• Conduct tests, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain academic records

• Guide students in practical work, case studies, and project preparation

• Use digital tools, smart classrooms, and teaching aids effectively

• Provide academic mentoring and career guidance to commerce students

• Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment

• Communicate student progress with parents and school management

• Participate in academic planning, staff meetings, and school activities

Required Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com (specialization in Accountancy / Finance preferred)

• B.Ed (Mandatory for school teaching roles)

• CTET / TET qualified (Preferred, as per board norms)

Experience

• 1–5 years of teaching experience in Commerce subjects

• Freshers with strong subject knowledge may apply

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics

• Ability to simplify numerical and theoretical concepts

• Good communication and classroom management skills

• Familiarity with CBSE / ICSE exam pattern and evaluation scheme

• Proficiency in digital teaching tools and online platforms

• Student-oriented and result-driven teaching approach
