Job Summary
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving guests efficiently, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables

Present menus and explain food & beverage items

Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen

Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly

Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints politely

Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations

Prepare bills and collect payments

Follow hygiene, safety, and restaurant policies

Assist in table setup, clearing, and resetting
Skills & Qualifications

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Polite, friendly, and customer-focused attitude

Ability to work in shifts and handle busy hours

Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and hygiene standards

Team player with a positive attitude
Educational Qualification

Minimum: 10th pass (preferred)

Training in hospitality is an added advantage
Experience

Freshers or 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant/hotel
