Computer Teacher

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Computer Teacher to teach computer science and information technology to students in a CBSE school. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to make technology-based learning engaging and practical.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver computer science/IT lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Teach computer fundamentals, programming, applications, and digital literacy.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, projects, and practical activities.
• Conduct computer lab sessions and ensure effective hands-on learning.
• Assess students through tests, assignments, projects, and practical examinations.
• Maintain student academic records and provide regular feedback.
• Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, and computational skills.
• Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom teaching.
• Maintain discipline and ensure safe and responsible use of computers and the internet.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, examinations, workshops, and training programs.
• Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and emerging technologies.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Applications, or a related field.
• B.Ed. preferred/required as per school norms and applicable CBSE requirements.
• Good knowledge of computer applications, programming, and educational technology.
• Previous teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school will be an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong computer and technical knowledge.
• Ability to teach programming concepts according to students’ levels.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students.
• Proficiency in English.

Experience

2–5 years of teaching experience preferred, with experience in a CBSE school being an added advantage.
