Tamil Language Teacher
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Tamil Language Teacher to teach Tamil language and literature to students. The teacher will be responsible for improving students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills while promoting cultural understanding of Tamil heritage.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Tamil language (reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary) to students

Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum

Teach Tamil literature, poetry, prose, and grammar as per grade level

Prepare study materials, worksheets, and assignments

Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations

Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback

Encourage spoken Tamil and correct pronunciation

Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school activities

Stay updated with modern teaching methods and digital tools
Eligibility & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tamil / Tamil Literature / Education

B.Ed. or teaching certification (preferred for schools)

Strong command over written and spoken Tamil

Good communication and classroom management skills

Freshers or experienced candidates can apply (as per requirement)
