Position: Mother Teacher
Department: Pre-Primary / Kindergarten
Reporting To: Head Teacher / School Principal

Role Summary

The Mother Teacher is responsible for the academic, emotional, and social development of young children. She acts as a single point of care, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach basic concepts such as alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and rhymes

• Take care of the overall development of children (academic, emotional, social, and physical)

• Maintain a warm, caring, and child-friendly classroom environment

• Observe and support individual learning needs

• Plan and conduct activity-based learning (stories, games, art & craft, music)

• Ensure children’s safety, hygiene, and discipline

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress

• Maintain attendance, progress reports, and daily records

• Support children during meals, rest time, and transitions

• Encourage good habits, manners, and values

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Graduate / 12th pass (minimum qualification may vary)

• Diploma or certification in ECCEd / NTT / D.Ed / Montessori preferred

• Freshers with passion for teaching are welcome

• Experience in pre-primary teaching is an advantage
